You know, I feel like I could do this story forever and ever and ever…but I won’t. It’s hard enough as it is just to have done this much. But I’ve been trying to give the cast enough screen time and even have a few subplots hinted at to keep the “world” reasonably lively. Of course, I won’t be able to wrap them all up with a neat little bow unless I want to make this thing 20 parts (which would kill me). On the plus side, I’d like to thank the readers for the overwhelmingly positive response this has gotten thus far! I’m thrilled that you guys have become attached enough to the cast to welcome a more story-driven, “riskier” (for BitF) series of comics. And for those of you that aren’t fans of this approach (believe me, I’ve heard from you guys too!)…well, the one-off strips will be back in a few weeks.

I must say though, I’m having far too much fun with this story at the moment to want to rush it.

A few substantial hints get dropped in today’s strip, but there’s more to come yet. I’m not 100% positive I can have the next part by Tuesday, or if it should be the next Intermission, or what. I’m trying to plan out the strips for this month and it’s been a little tricky, but keep checking BitF for updates! And speaking of updates, here’s Chris with some nifty announcements. Take it away, Chris!

Good news, everyone!  Everything in the Brawl in the Family online store is on sale until the end of March!  The sale is in honor of our new Eight Formidable Bosses shirt, which is also on sale!

We’re working on redesigning the store to look a bit more orderly, so keep an eye out for that.

Brawl in the Family will be running a couple of new ad boxes in the future provided by the Keenspot comic network.  Nothing will change about the site or forums – we’ll just be running a couple more ads!

As a reminder, we will be attending No Brand Con in Eau Claire, Wisconsin from April 15-17 this year and we’d love to see you there! We’ll have a booth and we’re looking forward to meeting y’all face-to-face.
