This joke was originally a one-panel strip with just the last panel (not unlike the Smokey the Bear one, in fact), but I ended up liking the mysterious build-up, question-answer approach a little better. In either case, this is one of those jokes where the reader’s imagination fills in the unusual visual, rather than seeing it displayed in the comic. So if you don’t find this one funny, it’s your own fault! 😉

On the Haiti Fund–initially, this was the final day of the drive, but I’m still trying to work things out with Paypal, unfortunately. I’m working to get things ironed out soon (within the next week or two), but if it doesn’t pan out, I’ll simply refund everyone’s donation and urge them to donate elsewhere. But hopefully it won’t come to that, since I’ve been very happy with everyone’s generosity so far! Stay tuned for more updates on that end.
