Ehh. I don't care about HG/SS. Until I get it.

Also, almost beat Platinum. I must admit, Game Freak knows how to make Giratina seem a little freaky......a little.

I've had too much experience with Rayquazas. I DON'T CARE IF I SPELLED IT RIGHT (If I did.)! One of my "friends" migrated one from Emerald and raised it to level 100. I had a pretty decent team. About level 71-74. Well anyways, he raised all of his Pokemon to level 100 and started crying because I didn't want to battle him. After about five minutes of him crying (like a stupid little crybaby), I finally said yes. He beat me with just one Pokemon. Gosh. He's a friggin' IDIOT.

I honestly can't wait for HG and SS. When they come, I'll trade my most powerful pokemon over. A level 100, max EV, high IV, Not Hacked, Serene Grace Dunsparce! Now THAT is uber.

Except Max EV is like 510 and that can only be 255 in one stat and 255 in another. Or split 85 per each stat. Either way just because it is MAX EV doesn't make it good. It is the way it is EV'd that makes it good. In the case of Dunsparce Hp/def/Sp.Def are the wise choices to go, but you'll also want some atk/spAtk. So maybe a spread of 144 Hp/252 Atk/36Def/76SpDef would be best. Then you have to figure in your moves you chose and if they fit to the way you EV'd. There is a reason why Dunsparce isn't UBER, there are way better options out there.

How is that "too much experience"... that sounds more like someone really wanted one big one-sided battle. You gave the impression that all your friends or whatever had Rayquazas up their butt every time you played, just like how back in the old days of RBY where everyone had a Mewtwo ready to use.

Your other options for Serene Grace (para)flinching include:
    • Togekiss
    • Jirachi
    • Shaymin (Sky Forme)

...all of which do its job better, primarily because they're faster than Dunsparce(also the fact that they can take a hit better). All have access to their respective flinch moves so that's a moot point to make anyway, and all of them bar Shaymin have access to Thunder Wave/Body Slam. The combination of Paraflinch gives the user about a 30% chance of being able to act(maybe less, I forget the exact number, correct me here), which is cool, but is heavily reliant on luck.

Either way if it was hacked to have illegal EVs(i.e. 999 each stat) then it's a moot point to make anyway, tiger.

Sorry, probably should have worded that better. Its as EV trained as much as possible. It has most of its EV training in its HP, and about equal in D/SD, and some in A. So its stats come to...
    HP: 378
    Attack: 216
    Defence: 212
    Sp. Atk: 193
    Sp. Def: 212
    Speed: 180
And I'm still perfecting its moveset, but right now, its
    Take Down/32
    AncientPower/8
    Dig/16
    Rollout/32
Sorry for that misunderstanding. Dunsparce isn't UBER, but its probably UBER compared to your average Dunsparce. And, anyone have any ideas for his moveset?

run away is useless for battles so ideal ability to abuse is serene grace with thunder wave + headbutt, but if it's just for in-game, nearly anything works for in-game

a moveset utilizing moves that carry secondary effects(i.e. charge beam, water pulse, ancient power) also can work, it's just that they rarely reach the same level of aggravation for your opponent that the paraflinch one does. obviously don't use your dunsparce when you know they have a strong fighting type attack ready to be used, but as mentioned dunsparce can't take much of a beating(it can learn roost, but with those defenses...)

My main plan is to abuse Dunsoarce's Serene Grace, so I'll try some of those moves. Lucky me I kept AncientPower. Also luckey is that noone in my Pokemon Fight Club uses Fighting Pokemon, so thats good for both my Dunsparce and Shuckle!<('U')>

A fighting team I would use would be:

    Infernape (Focus Counter Lead)
    Lucario (phys. sweeper)
Machamp (Rotom and maybe Scizor killer)
    Breloom (SubSeed Focus Punch)
Hitmontop (Stealth Rocker and Technician + Mach Punch abuser)
    Heracross (Choice Band attacker)

wow......monotype fighting is harder to make than I thought...
    I'll get a sig later

Steel types are cool since they carry much more resistances and immunities (Metagross, Skarmory, Heatran, Empoleon, Steelix, Bronzong)

Dragon types are cool since their attacks are resisted by only one type(steel), just that many of the dragons in the games seem to love having a 4x weakness to ice (Dragonite, Kingdra, Latias, Salamence, Flygon, Altaria, unless we want to include others like Dialga for more resists)

its hard to judge with just that statement alone, even with a myriad of water types available in the game there are how many are actually that don't suck, or rather, are outclassed?
(Lanturn, Kingdra, Ludicolo, Empoleon, Gyarados, Kabutops)

I did mention that monotype fighting doesn't give you much variety to work with(Fire is worse though), plenty of trainers that work with monotype would like to pick up pokemon to patch up common weaknesses, such as, say, Lanturn for electric attacks aimed at water types or Rotom for ground attacks aimed at your electric types.

I think the prime issue here is that all the fighting types in the game are mostly physically oriented with the large exception of Lucario, Blaziken and Infernape... but all three of them share a ground weakness so some guy with earthquake can theoretically go through your team with some well placed Earthquakes(and the only EQ resists that share a fighting type are Heracross and Breloom).

    Lol, Moemon.

Yeah, maybe I'll make a complete playthrough of it. I mean, while it's something different, but without fake Pokemon (I dislike fake Pokemon for some reason). Fire Red and Leaf Green are my favorite editions anyway.

I plan on getting the game. Johto is definitely my favorite region, and has some of my favorite pokemon, like Chikorita (I don't care that it's the worst against Johto Leaders) and Misdreavus. I usually use a wiki or guide to map out the best possible moveset. I plan on getting Chikorita's moveset being SolarBeam, Body Slam, Frenzy Plant and either Safeguard, Magical Leaf or Petal Dance. Which do you think would be best?
    Hi.

Note; If I appear to leave out spaces in my sentences, its because the space bar on my PC is mean and forgets to work sometimes.

    My Johto Run Through-
    Meganium
    Slowking
    Poliwrath
    Raichu
    Xatu/Skarmory
    Arcanine/Some other fire type.

    And my gimmick team-
    Raichu
    Pikachu
    Surfing Pikachu
    Flying Pikachu
    Pikachu Coloured Pichu
    Spiky Eared Pichu

But I have to wait until the 26th since I'm one of those limey brits.:P

EDIT: And I've only seen a few of the Pokémon movies (The first, the second, a bit of that weird third one and the one with Manaphy). The only one I can remember is the first one, and, honestly, the only part of that which was actually good was the Pikachu special at the beginning. Because Charizard getting his head stuck in a pipe was strangely moving. :P

    My HG team:
Feraligatr, Shaymin (S), Arcanine, Nidoking, Ampharos, Mamoswine.

New Pokémon Movie 13 trailer, presented by the Teutonic Pokéfans at Filb.

    WOAH.

    I. AM. SPEECHLESS.

Shaymin, you are no longer my favourite Pokémon.

That whole "throwing off your guise" effect was ultra-awesome-epic. They've really upped the game with this one. This film will be 12-times-the-awesome of Movie 11.
