    Garfield: The Search For Pooky

Poor Garfield. His comics are still funny, but he hasn't been well-represented in the world of video games... Case in point, this game.

Garfield: The Search For Pooky (Part 2)

This second part just proves what I've been hinting at all along. This game is a piece of ****. The worst game in my collection. Warning: One of my angriest reviews. It has more curse words than usual.

This is the Holidays, so this is time
To make a review completely in rhyme.
It's flawed, but it took me very long to write.
I'd be very happy if you went to read it, alright?

What's a better way to start the year with a simple WiiWare game? One without many problems? One that is quite fun? ...One that you only access a third of it unless you pay again?

I had to list the 10 Demo Reviews I did during the past two weeks.
This post also has an important announcement about the next few months on the blog.
List of all Demo Reviews + Announcement

In case you won't go read that post, here's the announcement: My internship begins tomorrow, and thus I won't have as much time to take care of my blog. I'll still write reviews, "Editorials" and Cool Stuff articles, but the rhythm will go from 3 main posts a week to 2. One on Monday, one on Friday.

Top 12 Plots from the Mario Series

Because despite the common idea that the Mario series always has the same plot... well, it has the same BASIC plot every time, But quite a number of Mario games have a more complex story than we'd think.

Re: Planned All Along, My Video Game Review Blog

Planned All Along began July 19th, 2013. I'm already looking forward to celebrating the blog's First Aniversary. And maybe it has to do with That Guy With The Glasses always celebrating the site's anniversary with something big (seriously, the fourth anniversary movie was three hours and a half long). Maybe, just because they were partly my inspiration, I feel like celebrating as well. Maybe, since I don't think I'd be ready to make videos with a camera (I don't even have a camcorder, in fact), I'd find another way to thank the readers for encouraging me through the whole year. Hm, maybe avatars. Or wallpapers. I already created an Extras section for the occasion, and I'm looking forward to filling it up with stuff for my readers to download.

Only problem, I don't have the artistic talent to draw great nice pictures that could be used as wallpapers. I don't have any good coloring tools on the computer, either. I guess I'll have to rely on my readers for that. Or, at least, readers who have more talent in that field of competence than I do.

More info on this later, most likely next week.

Re: Planned All Along, My Video Game Review Blog

The wallpaper project for Planned All Along.

Decided I'd talk about it now. I'm asking way ahead of time so that I can get ready faster.

I don't really like to ask for so much to a community, but there's absolutely no obligation to participate. If you do participate, however, here are a few things to know.
-The image size in pixels will be 1680X1050.
-You will still rightfully own the image. You will have the right to put a copyright notice or a watermark on the picture.
-With each wallpaper, links to your accounts showcasing your art will be clickable.
-The subject of the picture will be either a game I've reviewed or another thing I discussed on any article of my blog. I may or may not be part of the picture; I'll post a picture of myself on the "Post Your Picture" Thread here, just to be sure. And have it available for anyone who participates and decides to include me in the picture. Though like I said, it's really not necessary.
-I'd say it's better if the picture is comedic. But in the end, the choice is yours.
-"Planned All Along" can be written somewhere, either in a corner or hidden in the picture, though it's not a requirement.
-More important than anything else, even if I say "participate", this is not a contest. All the pictures I receive as a result will be taken and put up as downloadable wallpapers on the blog.

You have plenty of time to give an answer. Like I said, there's no obligation, if you don't want to, then don't.

Re: Planned All Along, My Video Game Review Blog

Back when the Simpsons were still rather funny, a game was released in which they become dangers on the road, while trying to drive other characters where they want to go. Try to make sense of that.

Does this game have the same problems as the recent Simpsons seasons? Not quite... It has other problems! Which I'm not even sure to qualify as problems... yet.

As some of you might know, Justin Carmical, better known as JewWario, died Thursday. He was an inspiration for many reviewers, so I had to write something as some form of tribute.

And BTW, yes, I did get a little bit over 2,000 visitors on January. Hurray!

Re: Planned All Along, My Video Game Review Blog

Any of you remembers what I talked about a short while ago? That I was looking for artists? To draw pictures that I'd make available on my blog as wallpapers? I'm still asking for such help. I asked around Twitter, I asked around another forum, I didn't really get any replies so far. I said I was going to post my picture someday, since I wanted a cartoon version of me to be in the pictures...

Spoiler: ...so I posted this on the "Post Your Picture" thread not long ago.

...I'm just wishing I'll get replies at some point. I really hate to nag people so that they help me. I hate having to constantly remind a person that I want something. But I guess I have to get over that personality trait of mine to make such a demand. Many artists on here draw really beautiful stuff, I looked at the Mario Paint sub-forum. The art showcased by many of you is really great. I figured I'd ask again, just in case I'd get any replies this time. (And remember; I'm asking five months ahead of time, because those pictures won't be up until July 19th, the date that marks the blog's anniversary.)

That will be all for the moment. As usual, another review coming up this Friday, one on Kirby's Epic Yarn.
