This one arc sort of has a non-ending of the disaster just getting worse, so for the benefit of you folks out there who want some sort of closure, I offer three alternate endings for your pleasure!

Doing shorter arcs like this and last year’s Janitor of the Mushroom Kingdom stem from my love of smaller arcs in newspaper comics like FoxTrot and Calvin and Hobbes. Sometimes there’s just a week or two of one of the characters having a small problem (Jason’s iguana gets loose, Calvin torments his babysitter) over the course of a few comics. So naturally, I made one about the end of the world.
