I had to stuff quite a bit into this edition–thankfully it wasn’t in full color, which allowed me to get it in on time! I couldn’t resist the cameos too; there aren’t many opportunities to draw a 60+ year-old Jimmy T. Keep an eye out for the details, as there’re a pretty good number of them this time around.

This is sort of how I can see a Koopa-run kingdom: your traditional power-hungry monarchy, with everyone else essentially being lower-class peasants. Except with more kidnapping, of course. There’re quite a few loose ends to this story now, with the grumpiness and aging of Mario, the ruling of Bowser, and now the extra kidnappings. Could a happy ending be possible in the next three comics?
