400 – The History of Nintendo
We’re back, baby!
First up–major thanks to the many, many kind souls across the world (from Sweden to Brazil to England to Canada to Mexico, etc) who sent me well-wishes, images, and gifts throughout this entire ordeal. You guys are the best fans in the world and have really helped me deal with all the misery I’ve been putting up with lately. I’m still going through hundreds (!) of emails, but I’m definitely going to read them all!

Second–Chris and I will be attending a con this weekend, UB Con in the University of Buffalo, New York! Be sure to stop by if you’re in the area and say hi.
Third, onto the comic. This has actually been in the works for a very long time (I had the refrain down over a year ago and considered doing it for comic 300) and I really wanted to go all-out with the idea. I tried to cram in as much Nintendo goodness as possible for a brief tour through history, so I hope the journey was both entertaining and educational. It’s the seventh BitF song, but only the second that’s a fully original melody, and by far the longest-running and longest-taking-to…make. So yeah, lots of hidden nods and references here and there for those that feel like lookin’. And the YouTube page has the lyrics if you need them! Many thanks to my fiancee, Sarah, for her tireless editing of the video, and my dad for the excellent trumpet and trombone riffs.
Fourth–Kid Icarus: Uprising is great fun! Check it out if you haven’t yet, and expect comics about it.
Fifth–Yes, I’m still sick, but I’m feeling better each day and barring any emergencies, I can work on the comic again. Updates will be Tuesdays and Fridays once again (I wrote the wrong thing in the last update).
Thanks for all the support. We’re back in action, so we’ll see you next week!
