Re: Shu Fang and Faulkner: The Satan Hunter Journals

jim this is perfect, i was laughing pretty much throughout
if i ended up copypasting all my favourite lines i would probably wind up replicating most of the story
but i will make special mention of this:
A tall, gangly Englishman lay in the dirt, bowler hat on the ground beside him as he looked up at the creature towering over him. He’d been excited when the beautiful little lady he’d been on a date through London with took him by the hand, led him to an empty park, and pushed him to the ground. His excitement greatly diminished, however, when she turned into a were-something. He was a bit too panicked to really make out what exactly she was supposed to be, but whatever it was, it had lots of sharp teeth and looked at him hungrily. And not even the sexy kind of hungrily, like literally ‘I’m starving and will consume your flesh’ hungry.

“L-listen, lady…” The Englishman began to try and crawl backwards on his elbows. “Yer a nice woman an’ all, but I really don’t like getting’ consumed on th’ first date. I ain’t that kind of boy!”
    excellent

    Faulkner x Roxy otp forever.

Although now we have a difficult choice to make:

    Roxner or Faulxy?

Oh my god Jim this is amazing

I love these stories a lot, they're definitely unique and a lot of moments made me laugh out loud. (the Sphinx and the Dubstep elemental was genius, and a wrestling Chupacabra was great and as a Mexican I approve)

Shu is a bit dry compared to the other characters, but its hard to compete against Faulkner and Roxy...

Definitely keeping an eye on this

Shu is probably dry because she's basically the straight (wo)man of the stories.

New story, bringing me up to 16,184. It feels simultaneously like I've written a lot less and a lot more.

Maybe this is what they call the Writing Plateau?

Nevertheless, the quality has been consistent in all the stories. I really liked Peppermint and the Yetis, and this new Ghost King is an interesting character to say the least.

Greatly interested on that man with the cellphone who summons monsters, though, Looking forwards for more of that guy.
