Do you feel it? That sense of something awful coming up?

Today, I take a look at the remaining sections of the Vault, then I look at the Options and Data modes, and then it's the fourth part of my riffing on the Subspace Emissary.

    Almost over!

Today, I give my overall thoughts about this game, and I do the last part of the Subspace Emissary. Next Monday will be a more in-depth analysis of what I like and dislike about the game, as most of these are details that would not have fit in this part.

The final part of my Brawl review!

I made two lists of things I like and dislike about Brawl. I didn't have room in Part 5 for this. These lists go more in-depth than I could previously, though many points were discussed in the preceding parts.

If you can summon anything, what will you do? Help people... or kill them?

    this is Scribblenauts!

Honestly, you should help them. YouM're not really going to go anywhere in the actual levels if you keep killing everyone, as many levels require that you don't kill people. For obvious reasons.

Finally, a good Mario game is reviewed on the blog! New Super Mario Bros.

The other two were not really great, so it's good news that I'm finally positive towards a Mario game.

On his quest, Mike meets odd birds, elderly folks, and some nasty aliens- wait, aliens? I KNEW IT!

StarTropics, Part 2. What I can say about it is that while it is fun, it is dumb. It's more than fun, it's awesome. But it's dumb, mostly becauseof Mike, but also because the people around him aren't much better.

12 Games I'd Like To Play Again Someday

Are there games that you used to own but sold to other people? Were there games among them that you really liked to play? I'm making a list of 12 (rather 16) games I grew up with and really enjoyed. There are classics, bu also some obascure games you might have never heard of before.

How long would your list be? Would it contain as many games as mine? Less? Even more? Tell me about it here!

(Also, there are two small videos with this review!)

    Drawn To Life (Part 1)

Drawn To Life Month begins today! Well, there was an intro on September 1st, but whatever. It really starts today.

I love Drawn to Life for the concept, for the platforming, but also for the story. It's a great story... featuring the cute little ~Raposa~!

OH!!! I have the second game for both the Wii and DS. I haven't played the Wii one in a while, but I have beaten the DS version. In fact, I'm making a storyline for my comic based on the DS game itself!

Re: Planned All Along, My Video Game Review Blog

I love the first DS game, I haven't played the second DS game (but spoilers for my reviews: Both games' endings made me weep - yes, even the second one, which I haven't played). I'm still going to dedicate a post at the end of Drawn To Life Month to talk about the second DS game, because I want to bring a proper closure to the themed Month.

The Wii game is "alright". Not awful, not bad, just... not up to par with the other two.

(Also, on the subject of themed months: I have a few more planned, like a Raving Rabbids Month, one and maybe more Mario Months, two Sonic Months...)

Drawn To Life: The Next Chapter (Wii) Part 1

Unlike the other two games, this one was made by Planet Moon Studios. What does that say about its quality?

Drawn To Life: The Next Chapter (DS)

Because this series ends on a high noter, I need to look at the final game even though I don't own it. I mostly cover the plot. And theres a LOT of plot to cover.

This is the end, my Rapo-friends, the end...

The end of Drawn To Life Month. The end of the series. Drawn To Life cannot continue further after this ending. It just wouldn't make sense.

Unfortunately, I actually played the game on the Drawn to Life Collection. But I didn't really understnd what was going on, so I tried to figure it out online, and then I saw the actual ending. These games are just amazing, and I wish there were more plots like these.

Though on a side note, I thought that the gameplay in the second one was better than the first. You should try it if you ever get a chance.

Like I say, the revised ending makes less sense than the original one.

It was a lot of fun doing an actual themed month. I might do those again in 2015. Or maybe one in November? ...Maybe not.

Due to a stricter schedule due to having a job, I didn't get to write extra reviews to keep myself ahead on the blog. Which means that starting this Friday, I will stop posting parts of reviews on Mondays, for at least one month. This should give me more time to write, more time to come up with good material for the site. This not-quite-a-hiatus will continue until November at least. Keep in mind, though; it should continue only until I've written about five parts of reviews ahead of time. This will give me a bit of freedom. I'll have more time to work on the next reviews because some will have been written much ahead of time.

P.S. With October starting today, I announce the Halloween season begun on Planned All Along. What better way to start than with the master of frights, in a story about video games? ...Tune in Friday morning for the second VGFlicks segment, covering a 2001 movie about monsters and video games... Can you guess which movie I'm talking about? (Following the previous announcement, Part 1 of the review will be published this Friday, with Part 2 released the Friday afterwards.)

P.P.S. Aside from that movie, I have a full list of movies I can review for VGFlicks segments. If you want me to post the list, just tell me here. I will gladly do.
