Ohgodcherubiyay!~ Seed Bomb, please!
I've had a lot on my plate lately. I'm sorry, I really want to, but I just haven't been able to focus long enough to churn out a decent entry.
It has been done. And I can't spell the word count without making it a cuss, wheeeeeee
right. although i wasn't quite buying it, i was raiding a stranger's kitchen it makes sense, but there is a bit of difference.
I thought about it for a while an decided that wasn't a great idea, i was going to add to the post something sbout going to bed, as i presume you want to carry on with the story. Unfortunately, my internet cancels out at a certain time, so i have to wait another 7 hours or so. Also i was and still am on an iPod. When i get to a proper computer, i'll edit my post. I'm really sorry, i didn't want to godmod about finding things that may not exist, like bread. Can i assume that there is some somewhere?[/stupidquestion] EDIT: i have changed the post, hopefully we can get a move on with the RP. Sorry about that.
Not a problem. I am glad you showed some genuine interest
Physical and emotional strength. There was a passage someone made a hell of a long time ago (don't even remember who or where) that stuck with me about it. While power needs wisdom to control it, and courage to use it. What is wisdom without power to enforce it, and courage to do so? Then courage needs power to be successful, and wisdom for knowledge. All three alone are mighty, yet weak. Together as one they are strong. May the way of the Hero lead you to the Triforce. I kinda like to look at it like High School. Bear in mind I know these generalizations are harsh and I know not all are like this, just using it as an example. You have the dumb jock. He is strong, but not smart. His strength makes him brave, but he is far from couragous. Will he get far in life? Possibly, but not too far without a proper education. You have the bookworm. Not that brave, not strong at all, but smart and crafty. Will he get far? In some fields yes. but that is a very limited and strict field. You have the gangsta. He is boistrous and brave, but he is only strong with his posse, and he is nowhere near smart. He will not likely get far in any field of life. Then you have the fireman. The fireman has to be strong in order to break into a building. He has to be brave to muster up the ability to enter a building on fire. And he has to be smart to know when a situation is too much, and what is the safest way to do things. I know the latter is not a school demographic, but it works for an example.
Here is a review by him: http://nationalinterest.org/bookrevi...ommon-man-3447 And here is a review of his book Straw Dogs by Terry Eagleton: http://www.guardian.co.uk/books/2002...ducation.news2
I basically meant that as you might find his philosophy interesting. I'm not very knowledgeable about him either.
Apart from the world creation, I believe that a person is to have balance within himself. Balance between courage, power, and wisdom. A lack in any of those makes for an incomplete person. Since there as been nothing speaking of a heaven, though the Sacred Realm/Golden Land seems a more ethereal place, so in some ways, I believe when one passes on, their spirit goes to the Sacred Realm to live beside the Triforce for eternity. Something along those lines. Practicing the religion is difficult (as I am the only one who believes in it). So I pray to the goddesses, somewhat how Link did in from of the Desert Palace in ALTTP. I also keep what little there is to the religion from in-game fresh in my mind, re-reading material. I know it is rather crazy, and that a lot of people would say that is still not enough. But I feel it is enough. After all, it provides me with a lifestyle, gives me something to believe in, and comforts me in my time of need, which is pretty much what religion is. I have tried to get a few friends of mine into it, and for a while I had at least 2. But they decided to move on.
You come across as a bit John Gray-like, really (the philosopher). That's not intended as an insult.
yeah, i pretty much have the same opinion
My point is not that PS and GIMP are vastly different programs (they serve more or less the same purpose, although PS is in my opinion better equipped) nor that "Photoshop editing" is not a colloquial expression (since it clearly is as you stated). What I argue is that adopting a colloquial expression to signify a certain type of signature is bound to make one appear as pedantic if the expression does not wholly fit the bill, especially if stated as a generalisation. I agree the comparison is exaggerated, but it is certainly not an insult; I think it only is perceived as an insult because the example I choose is particularly insufferable to anime fans (and righteously so).
if the comics weren't good, i wouldn't have joined the forum, but now i like the community (typically people who use the IRC and whatnot) much more than the comic.
cool anti-sig trollin' bro i would agree, however, that most of the 'unpopular opinions' are actually not so at all and also that i don't typically enjoy bitf
