When BitF started up, one criticism some had with the comic was too much of an emphasis on Kirby approaching something, eating it, then experiencing an unfortunate/unexpected result. As the strips went on, I sort of strayed from this recurring theme, but I never want to abandon it completely. Every now and then, I want to do strips like this, because in addition to just being fun for me, it forces me to always keep the comic simple enough to some degree. That’s one of the defining characteristics of Brawl in the Family.
