So yeah, the Aparoids! Remember them? …Anyone?

The main bug’s design isn’t really based on a particular foe from StarFox Assault, but I’ve always had trouble remembering cannon fodder from StarFox games, really. Either way, it’s too bad this never happened in the game; I bet Slippy has some crazy tongue-snatching skills. The sci-fi serial presentation of this strip works better if you imagine heroic music suddenly playing during the first and last panels.

When are we gonna get a new StarFox anyway? I imagine my opinion that StarFox 64 has yet to be topped is not a controversial one.
