I’m starting to recover! I had my esophagogastoduodenoscopy on Tuesday and as it turns out, the inside of my esophagus is covered with fever blisters, which explains a lot. I feel a bit better now that I’ve got the right medicine, so my sincere thanks goes out to the well-wishing from fans and the collective patience due to the delay in updating! Barring any sudden emergency (unlikely), expect to see the update schedule resumed as normal.

Kirby Mass Attack recently hit shelves and is getting solid reviews and impressions from critics and gamers alike, so I couldn’t pass up the chance to do a strip about it. This comic actually went through a major change though–the first idea I had ended up just not flowing right (and it was in full color before I decided against it, too!). So yeah, I guess it took a little time to come up with something I was happy with. I should upload all the “reject” strips one day in a forum thread or something.

While BitF centers on the Kirby cast, it’s actually not too often that I get to make comics specifically about Kirby games, so when I do, I try to throw in lots of visual nods to the series. And when Return to Dream Land hits next month, I’m definitely planning to incorporate that into the comic as well!
