USER REGISTRATION APPROVAL (New registered users please read!)

In light of the recent bot problems, we have found a way to temporarily deal with bots.

We have decided to turn on the USER APPROVAL SYSTEM basically, when a new user registers, they will not be able to post any messages.

PLEASE LET A MODERATOR KNOW SO THAT WE CAN TURN ON YOUR POSTING PRIVILEGES.

    ---

You should be able to still send Private Messages despite not being approved. To do this, you can find the moderator's name either in the Active Users list(forum index, bottom of page) or the blue names at the top left of each post.

In this page, you can just click on "Rebel Vanguard" and you'll get a list to pop up, you can click Private Message to send a PM to him.

Otherwise, you're sent to his profile, where you can find "Send Private Message" on the left side.

    ---

We are doing this so we can get rid of bots easier, and that bots won't invade the boards.

Anyway, this seems like a good idea. Exactly how long is "temporary"? Or is it none of my biz? Just curious, that's all.

It'll probably be until we get our bot problems solved for good. Which this is the easiest way to mass delete bots and prevent spam at the moment.

And if the bot problem arises again, then we'll probably have to to turn this back on.
    And what's this?
