I don't care that I did my Computer project, which is due tomorrow, on homestarrunner.com and now I'll have to edit a part of it because of this update, I am so full of joyyyyy

Mistletoe sweater-ed Homestar?! That's what I've always wanted for Decemberween! And it's just what I need for the holidays! *changes icons to that*

I shall brace myself for both updates and non-updates(who knows if this will be the last toon update for awhile?).

Sweet, so the site didn't die less than a year after my discovering it after all. Senor Cardgage's probably one of my favorite characters, too; it's hilarious to try to pick apart his dialogue. Now we can only hope for the return of the SBemail.

Trust me, it hurts more when you feel like the site died after having been a fan since 2002 :<

I... Didn't quite get the new size of the cartoon, and I'm pretty sure it made my computer lag at one point which was a bit weird, but still, new cartoon!

And I genuinely thought they'd be cutting the cast down when "SENOR CARDGAGE IS DYING!" was brought up. :P

Although there is still Homsar out there.

    Hmm.

I've been starting watching HSR recently, since I want to play the Strong Bad game (because I absolutely love Telltale), and because Strong Bad was excellently written in Poker Night.

I'm somewhere in the 50s in sbemail.

I always liked the Teen Girl Squad comics that Strong Bad does. "Cheerleader! So-and-So! What's Her Face! The Ugly One!"

To be completely honest, this wasn't some of their best work, in my opinion. It was good, but not as near as good as most of their other toons.
But considering their situation and the fact that the site hasn't updated in forever, I'll take anything.
Too bad this will probably be it until another holiday.

I've also been rewatching the SBemails. I think I'm in the 50s, too.

Well it isn't the first time he knocked on death's door. Perhaps he'll make it this time.

I use to draw those in class. But I stopped when I realized it wasn't a good idea to draw super violence out of context on Math work sheets.

"I can't believe Homestar started fourth grade! How time flies. It's so great!"

    "Excuse me, you're disgusting. Barf."

I think there were a bunch of rejected characters standing in line at Bubs's.

YES! At long last, they've updated with a full-length Toon! I love it!

Also, it's hard when I'm introducing people to Homestar Runner because really, it's just so hard to describe exactly what it is... Whatever it is, though, it's really funny!

My friend thinks the reason they dont update as much anymore is they keep constantly getting their wives pregnant :/

Actually they've had other obligations since the previous family extension. The Jim Henson Company had commissioned Craig Zobel and Matt Chapman to write for a movie and recently Poker Night in the Inventory wrapped up development and was released to the masses. Strong Bad is in that game and he was VA'd by Matt. Mike probably was behind the scenes doing other work or helping out the family during the stretch of limited updates.

While it IS true that Matt's wife had a second child, it's not like they've stopped completely just to get it on with their wives or anything like that. I mean, would you really abandon you're newborn child just to continue doing some crappy internet Flash cartoon? Besides, they were heavily involved in writing the dialogue for Strong Bad in Poker Night at the Inventory, so it's not like the Brothers Chaps didn't do anything in regards of the series.

Wait, The Jim Henson Company asked them to write a movie?! For realz?! AWESOME!!

    OH HEY HEY HEY.
They updated again, this time with 'ween costumes!
No, not the Halloween costumes that they missed this year, but Decemberween costumes!
Pom Pom has an extremely impressive costume.

    No Homsar? Could this means...

Eh, whatever, fun times with costumes! And all holiday related! Even two characters wearing costumes from the same source.

    Really?

    ...AHAHAHAHAHA I CAN'T BREEEATHE

I think I recognize more of these costumes than in any other 'ween toon! There's costumes from A Christmas Story, the original Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Dr. Seuss's How The Grinch Stole Christmas...

...The Rapping Paper? Oh dear gog. TBC, never leave me again.

The only characters costumes I didn't recognize were Bubs's costume, Coach Z's costume, and Homestar's costume. I though Coach Z's costume was really funny, and Bubs's costume rather clever.

Matt Chapman posted this on his Twitter. There's...there's hope. :'D
    There's no use worrying,

There's always hope, particularly since even earlier he mentioned on his Twitter that he'd have to be crazy to want to quit doing Homestarrunner.

Unfortunately, we have no clue how long it'll be until we see this... not sure if hype should occur yet.

    Re: Homestar Runner Discussion Thread

Well we're just waiting when Matt can be free for a time to do H*R voice acting. I'm sure Mike is already working here and there on H*R behind the scenes stuff when not helping his bro with his work or helping tending to the family.

Right now Matt is working with The Aquabats on their show on The HUB and he did write a pilot of Gravity Falls for Disney. If Disney picks that series up, Matt might have a lot more work ahead of him.
