MS Paint Adventures (Warning: Spoilers in this thread)

    Courtesy link.

You'd think with all the people here who like MSPA we'd have this thread sooner.

Anyway, I'm on Act 5 of Homestuck now. It's very good, but it takes forever to pick up.

I haven't read any of the other adventures yet, luckily you don't have to have read earlier stuff to understand the newer things, though there are in jokes at times.

I'm actually already missing the [s] comics (Act 5 hasn't had an [s] comic yet), it'll suck when I'm reading the older adventures which don't have any [s] comics at all.

Oh yeah. I got pretty far in to Homestuck, then the computer with its save data broke and we had to throw it away. I would like to read it again, but I'm not sure where to start off from.

Do you remember what was going on when you stopped?

I'm currently in chapter seven or so of Problem Sleuth. I'll get to homestuck someday. I'm greatly enjoying Problem Sleuth, as it never really goes anywhere, and that's the joy of it. It's just funny.

There are many awesome things in Homestuck. The trolls are awesome and the kids even moreso.
It can be surprisingly sad, gruesome or all-round epic, but it's mostly a bit silly and light-hearted, which is pretty awesome.
I like the Midnight Crew intermission. The Felt are very awesome.

Problem Sleuth = Weird Puzzle ****
    Homestuck = Weird Plot/Time ****

So yes, in Homestuck it's a lot harder to understand what's going on. But you get used to it after a while.

With homestuck the plot summaries, if you can be bothered to read the solid wall of text, really are great at summarizing the plot, so it's not that hard to understand.

All in all considering how it's made, and how fast there churned out it's a remarkably well made comic/flash thing with great music and art.

The most exciting thing so far is when we saw that human who likes horrible earth movies. I wonder if he'll ever be important?!

Oh, MSPA, how recently I've discovered you.
Just a few weeks back, I discovered this glorious site. And then I read Problem Sleuth over the course of three days. It was glorious.
Now I will most likely get around to reading Homestuck, but I'll need plenty of free time, assuming I get sucked into like with Problem Sleuth.

I love MSPA, but I personally liked Problem Sleuth more than Homestuck. It felt more spontaneous and was less complicated (in a manner of speaking). Homestuck is great, but really REALLY hard to follow. I still love it though

    BitF Forums: Fondly regard MSPA.

Problem Sleuth was excellent and very entertaining, though Homestuck can be confusing. You probably have to re-read the comic a few times or wait for an explanation comic to make things clear to avoid falling out of the loop.

If there's one annoyance to Homestuck, it's the pester/troll/sprite logs (and the troll logs in particular). It's like a giant wall of text of tl;dr at times. Though considering the alternatives, it's either this or a slowdown of updates to do alternative ways of showing pester/troll/sprite logs. *sigh*

Troll Logs can be a bit wordy, but they're usually either funny or there for characterization/plot.

I'm split as to whether Nepeta or Feferi are cuter. It's hard to tell.

The EOA 1 animation? That was okay. Wait for End of Act 4

it's, what, 4 minutes long? Feels like seven.

I've read Problem Sleuth and IIRC I finished the Midnight Crew intermission of Homestuck and I stopped

I can tell I have a lot to catch up on.

pester logs and such were annoying to me not because of tl;dr but because of AAAGH MY EYES since some of the text is really bright

    Very good webcomic thing.
