So I'm reading the book; it's really cool! It's really great introduction to people who have no idea about FnaF or have played the games. My girlfriend and I have been literally fighting on who's reading it at certain times.

THE PURPLE GUY IS IN THIS, AND HE HAS A NAME!! IT'S DAVE!!

Haha, I hear it's really well written.
Kinda tempted to get it myself. XD

    Oh I forgot to comment,

Yeah and apparently all the lore events also happened outside of the dream.
A bit is confusing, I may need to watch the beginning of that second video again. XD

    Confusing = FnaF? Psh, never.

Also, I don't think this has ever been addressed by literally anyone, and for those few who I just mentioned, I apologize in advance.

    Motivation.

What is the motivation for these murders? I think we've been so focused on who murdered the kids, (the Purple Guy...probably.) But...why? Does he hate kids? Does he hate Freddy Fazbears? I haven't seen a single video or discussion on why these murders happened in the first place.

I know what you mean about motivation, alas not all attackers have one. (other than to harm I guess?)
The fact that Purple guy goes back to the restaurant in the 3rd game's minigames,
and attack the animatronics to relieve his crime, actually supports that he did it for the thrill or something disturbing like that.
In short, Purple guy is basically the Joe Darke (from Ace Attorney) of Fnaf.

(Though I suppose the book writer may have come up with a motive that would work in the game's lore.)

Ugh! I wished I've gotten that far in the Ace Attorney series, because his name isn't ringing a bell, and I love me some AA.

I haven't finished the book yet, but I'm getting close. Scott better of wrote in a motive, because if not, it'll be even more confusing without it, but I do understand the points you made.

He's from the 5th case of the first game I believe

My guess is...probably not. There's a whole long video MatPat did that explains why Scott might not officially announce the whole story. And the reasoning that Mat gives makes total sense. Go check it out, I totally recommend it. His videos shouldn't be too hard to find while in this thread lol.

So, FNAF World is out. And...people are really ragging on Scott this time. "Unpolished, too repetitive," are comments I'm seeing a lot of, and, to be honest...that's what it looked like from the trailer. It just looks like the game had no soul; it's FNAF characters in an RPG...and that's it. I may give it a try, since this one isn't trying to scare the crap outta me, but I'll see.

    Re: Five Nights at Freddy's

I've actually played FNAF World a little bit. I decided to quit for now after reaching the end, but I anticipate on getting back into the game after Scott updates more (assuming you haven't heard this announcement yet).

    Spoiler: My Game's Ending

If anyone is interested in knowing some more game info, I can spoil some more or point you in the right direction. I've looked into what the game has to offer, though I don't know everything.

ALSO: Scott has confirmed that a second book is being written. There isn't any information out besides that he's in the process of writing it.

    Re: Five Nights at Freddy's

So with FNaF reaching other forms of entertainment, such as books and film(?), I was talking with a friend about last year's Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, and that I would like him to come with me for this years HHN. And while I was describing my experience last year, he brought up the thought of a house going through each of the four FNaF games; a Freddy's pizzeria with the original four, then another pizzeria with the new and old four, Balloon Boy, and the Puppet, then a haunted house with Springtrap, then in a house with the nightmare animatronics scaring you. We kept talking about that idea and how scary and interesting it would be, if Universal were to actually do this idea, but I know of the rumor that Warner Bros. bought rights to the movie, but I don't know if that affects it in anyway.

What could it mean? People, of course, are thinking FNaF5.

I honestly wish he just went ahead and made a sequel to the beaver game... I wonder if he's doing it because he has fun with it, or if he's doing it for cash...

Well, considering how he made it so anyone who bought Fnaf World can get a refund at anytime and is redoing said game to release for free; even though the game's reviews were already very positive.

I think it's safe to say it's because he enjoys doing it.

Announced by Scott Cawthon, the FNAF series will be, re-made, to work on consoles sometime in 2017.

By that time, it'll be interesting to see if the FNAF series will still be popular.

Oh my, that's certainly a disturbing sight.
If those images are of the actual 3D models, then I am quite impressed at how much he keeps advancing graphics of his series.

Holy &&&&. This is...quite a shake-up. This looks like you're going to be doing some moving around in this game. And these new chrome animatronics are..interesting. One design feature I don't understand is the moving parts, from the faces of the characters. Yes, it's creepy, but...what is its actual purpose of it, other than it being creepy? And I like the fact it has another voice in it, besides Scott's, and hopefully he uses it to its full advantage for scares within the game.

EDIT: At 1:03, the Freddy-looking animatronic on the left has a little Bonnie hand-puppet on its right hand. I thought that was interesting and hopefully plays some sort of part in the game.
