The world turns amidst a sea of stars. As it always has, as it always will... Or so we always thought.
Very few are aware that the universe moves in cycles, and this one is about to draw to a close. Soon, a new world will be born. A world created from the vision of the winner of this world's final war...
Spoiler: Plot
The year is 2259. Seven individuals find themselves in a strange library. This library exists outside of space and time, recording all the events of the universe, persisting throughout the changing of the cycles. It is here the Masters learn Earth's cycle is soon coming to a close. The seven have been chosen to look through the books of this cycle's record, pick a legendary figure of their choice into a class, then return to earth, where they will find their figure waiting for them. They are to wage a secret war with the other Masters. For the winner, the greatest prize awaits: They will become the creator god of the next cycle.
Spoiler: Setting
The war will take place in the city of Horizon, a high-tech and densely-populated tourist hotspot taking up a sprawling man-made island off the west coast of the United States. The city proper fills the island's center, while the outer rim is miles of beach and resorts. Several smaller man-made islands surround Horizon, lacking the sand and trees of the main island and showing the gritty details of steel and concrete. Miles to the west of the main island, abandoned skyscrapers rise from the sea, a failed project having sunk beneath the waves.
Spoiler: Important Details
- The Great Library's War does not have the same limitations that are found in the Holy Grail War. That means all of Earth's notable figures apply, be they human, god, demon, monster, centaur, and so on. Non-humanoid spirits will appear in a humanoid form upon summoning, so as to keep the secrecy and deception aspect of the war alive.
- As always, do remember that humans trying to directly fight a Heroic Spirit will die. They're just too strong.
- Due to the war's nature, you do not need to be a magus to participate. You may still be if you'd like, but it's not a requirement.
Spoiler: How To Apply
To apply for one of the 5 remaining slots, send me a PM with your Master's name, age, general backstory, and special abilities, if they have any. Also send me what Servant class you'd try to like, and perhaps a basic Servant concept or two.

Re: Fate/Final Ambition
well i would sign up for this but i always end up getting caught up with other stuff and not posting
still i really look forward to seeing how this one turns out
i would be willing to do stuff like audience reactions/the occasional announcer thing though :O
He were not hanged. He would not answer aye or nay to his indictment; for if he denied the charge they'd hang him surely, and auction out his property. So he stand mute, and died Christian under the law. And so his sons will have his farm. It is the law, for he could not be con-demned a wizard without he answer the indictment, aye or nay... Great stones they lay upon his chest until he plead aye or nay. They say he give them but two words. "More weight," he says. And died.
Huh.
You know what?
I want Jack the Ripper from Fate/Apocrypha as my servant. Never mind the fact that I've never played one of these visual novels or watched the anime. Guess I'll have some studying to do. It's just... There's so many RPs like this.
Anyways, yeah, let's wait for approval.

A few things here:
Please read the rules more carefully, because I said I wanted this done in PM, and also needed a Master concept sent in. Secondly, I'm not allowing straight lifts from other Fate things. While I will allow heroic spirits used in the non main-series Fate works (Meaning characters from Apocrypha and Extra and such are fine), I am not allowing them exactly as they were in that.

Oh.
Alright then. I knew that you wanted it done in PM, but I do suppose not exact concepts are fine.

I've always approved of these and I don't see why I shouldn't approve of this one too! Might be wrong, but I feel like there's less info here than there has been before, but that's not to say it isn't enough.. Still looks very accessible and I love the idea of being able to use any notable thing in history, mythology, and so on.
Yep, approved. These are always areally active and fun to follow so I hope all goes well.
