Dang son, your art is just like the Don Bluth and Disney and whatever, really nice. I'm curious as to what Sonic would look like in Bluth style...

    Anyway, keep it up.

    Art that hopefully doesn't suck.
    I-what-how-huh?!

I sure hope that was sarcasm, because you have good work here. I'll even be upfront in that I'm not really partial to Don Bluth's style. Doesn't fit my personal tastes. It also doesn't matter, since I can see that you're a solid artist with a handle on plenty of professional techniques (techniques which I haven't even touched as an artist, shame on me). Your use of vanishing point to not only help with scenery (Land Before Time) but also with proportional posing (Mr. Sandman) shows an incredible amount of attention put into these drawings. Everyone is lively and expressive, not only through their expressions, but also through their poses. Not a one feels stiff, and rather many of these poses help sell the character (the forward momentum, head-against-the-wind helping to show the reckless brashness of the guy in the Looney Tunes one, for example). Even your backgrounds are very well done, with the Homestar Runner and Valentines '11 looking as equally interesting as your character art.

Perhaps my main criticism about your art (mainly those with backgrounds), is that it can sometimes look chaotic and cluttered. A very large part of that is that none of these are inked or "finished," but it'd be neat to see what a cleaned-up picture would look like for comparison.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like your art takes a great deal of influence from The Animator's Survival Kit, notably in how you pose your characters (or more specifically, how their limbs bend). ...heck, even how you draw their feet (bending sharply when tip-toeing and the like) reminds me of that book. And none of this is bad, mind you. In many ways I find it rather fascinating to see art that is reminiscent of an older era both in appearance and in technique. Bravo, I say. With your influences, have you actually animated anything? I'm rather curious how your art would look in-motion.

All-in-all, be proud of your work--bother "hopefully," it most certainly does not suck.

What the... how dare you possess even the slightest inkling that these suck. These RULE. I can't even give a critique because I can't point out what to improve. I guess I can still say what I like, though. I particularly like the stylistic liberties you take with the characters. It's really cool when you can change a design but keep the spirit of the original design. The lines are very crisp, clear, and placed just right, and where you choose to darken areas is also spot-on. I'd like to see more. More, I say.

Thanks for your kind words, guys. I'll see what I can do about a cleaned up drawing, but, until then, I've added more to the list in the first post.

Yeah, I took a couple cues from that book by Richard Williams and I have animated before. I just don't know how to convert the animations files into something everyone can see successfully.

Oh my goodness, your art is amazing! I didn't get to go through them all, but I did quite a bit! Are there any that are colored in? AND YOU DRAW SWORDS!! I love drawing armor and weapons, that is mostly what my sketchbook is made up of. xD Although I have a difficult time making original looking weapon. :P You, sir, have gained yourself a fan!

Oh, hello~o color drawings. And a good lot of these are all nice and cleaned up, too! Marvelous!

Welp, I'll not sic one of your threads with yet another long post. To keep things brief, your color choices in general are solid, and how you blend/fade everything is rather snazzy. I particularly love the Guardian Knight and Portrait of a Young Man pictures. Love the warm, metallic colors for the former. It's also neat seeing how your art style can sometimes adapt between different series. And hey, NaNoWriMo! I feel a certain empathy for those pictures. Did that back in 2009, and while I had a blast, it was tough work. I'm sure the recipient of those drawings was highly encouraged and appreciative.

Out of curiosity, how long have you been drawing?

Added 4 new drawings and then an animated image at the very end. Hope you all enjoy... even if I couldn't find a way to loop the animation.

Lovely as always, and seems like these are new/recent drawings if I'm not mistaken. For yourself, looking back on some of your older art (most of what's here seems to have been made around 2011), in what ways do you think you've improved in these past few years?

And hey, a look at your animation work! Fantastic! Quite like how you animated the run itself, as the legs both flow well and has an appropriate "snap" to their stride. How the arms swing is also well done, and I like how the ears bob in time with the footsteps. Very natural in that regard. I must say that the head seems a bit wobbly, though. The hair, snout, and eyes all seem very choppy in their movements, and sometimes seem to even change proportion or rotation (as some examples, there seems to be a frame where her snout juts out a bit too far, the eyes are constantly rotating as if the run is very bumpy despite other elements such as the ear bob implying otherwise, and the hair seems change size (the top part of her hair is obviously shifting in the wind and up-down movement, but the bottom part near her neck stays relatively stationary, hence the oddity)). Hardly ruins the animation, as every other part is animated very well and is certainly on the right track. But it caught my eye, so I thought I'd make mention of it.

Thanks a ton for sharing your stuff, man. Always enjoy seeing what you come up with.

Well, as far as how my art looks to me now than when I did back then, I think I'm starting to finally understand what "getting the feeling" for your work really means. It's hard to keep a drawing from looking stiff or mechanical in its presentation without it. Not to say my older work is bad or anything - heck, it beats the tar out of my old anime inspired work from my teenage years, it's just that I can finally feel comfortable with the posing... most of the time. I still draw something that doesn't look right from time to time.

Also, yeah, the head area kind of bothers me in that animation. I WAS going to fix it before posting it, but I didn't know where to begin and I was starting to fear having to start it all over again. Heck, I don't even know how that little mishap happened in the first place. I think I need to start paying more attention to what I'm doing.

Wow. I absolutely adore your style. It's so cartoony, and charming. It reminds me of something, but I'm not sure what exactly.

Just noticed Regigigas and Robin. I love them. :D

Since you're doing Disney stuff sometimes, do you think you could draw Sora from Kingdom Hearts?

Woooow. This is extremely good. I'm at a loss for words. Also, Homestar and Plok and Punch-Out and Animaniacs! There's so much good stuff here!

I don't really have anything to request, so... I give you 5 golden bananas PLUS out of Shigeru Miyamoto. I'm excited to see what you do next!

Well, KHII Sora is my favorite, so if it's not too much trouble, you could draw that one. :3

Hey, if you're taking requests and aren't too busy, I'd like a drawing of my RP character, Doctor Robotski.

    Spoiler: Description

Sorry for not even so much as saying 'hi' in about over a year or so. I've been tring to improve my drawing skills and I still haven't gotten photoshop yet.

I'm also trying to perfect my animating skills. I should come up with something soon.
Also, yeah, I didn't draw Sora. I'll still do it; I just got lazy.
