Keep walking. Don't stop. Make some arrows and see how they fly with the bow a good distance away.

As it currently stands you are mostly armed with weapons you have no idea to use. And given that this discordant clicking phantasm is probably spooking it up this place all in here given the completely logical evidence seen, you wisely back the heck off and run through the road to new grounds. The clicking noises vanishes rapidly the farther that you flee, to good riddance. Sure you'll need to swing by there... Twice later on, but it'll give you the opportunity to prepared.

Some walking ahead the fog begins to lift to give way to some new peculiar local, a somewhat "civilized" looking settlement. The quotations used in this scenario are described as such because while it does seem this area could have at one point inhabited, you have a tough time seeing how. The buildings at a glance appear sound and yet structurally impossible, roads seem to not only climb over walls, but often times themselves, just trying to understand the staircases and rows of columns is beyond you. The only thing that can be reasoned from this nonsensical hellhole of a location is its creators seemed to have actively worked against the forces of nature in its design.

Despite that, one location dead ahead still had the decency not to strain your mind when looked at plainly. Located upon a checkerboard patterned slatestone platform a single brickwall square sat under a positively massive glowing panel overhead. It was stunningly bright and flashed with a frenetic array of geometric patterns. Their hypnotic allure captivated your eyes, but you finally managed to break your view long enough to see the man sized glass-frame standing just by the platform's borders.

It was almost invisible actually, but upon closer inspection revealed amazingly detailed design across its transparent borders. By chance as you felt out the engravings you accidentally nudged it, sending the pane skidding gently away from you along the checkboard's edge. Rushing over to catch the glass item and bringing it back to its original location, you notice that looking through the frame creates a differing view of the building than what you see behind it.

There is a door in one view not found in the other.

Intrigued by this perspective anomaly you lift the glass off its track and begin moving it closer to the square, which fails spectacularly as you are unable to make it budge an inch off the sidelines. Confused by this, you once again shift it along the borders left and right to great ease, yet going against them proved to be a seeming impossibility.

You attempt a number of various means to shove the looking glass closer, or frankly at all off the lattice. Shoving, Shimmying, Telekinetic pull. You almost thought you were on to something when you yanked the side of it and pulled it toward you, but all that revealed was some kind of Omnidirectional swivel is included to the stupid thing. Sure, make it turn in any direct but nope it has to stay on the dotted line lest the world around us fall into anarchic chaos. Perfectly Reasonable!

Repositioning the hellmirror back you take a look between the two scenes and decide as long as higher thought can take a break here you might as well roll with it. Maybe instead of you taking the mirror to the door the mirror takes the door to you, maybe. On the bright side since nobody is going to see you smash your face against a glass wall in the next to seconds there's no reason to be ashamed as you walk straight ahead pretending nothing is going to happen.

Suprisingly nothing happens, no face plants, no cussing yourself out for flagrant moronitude, just a straight walk into the mouth of an unexpectedly large dungeon like interior, with echoes emanating deeper within of all sorts of life beyond.

"Ahh! If it isn't Dave; How unexpected to see you all the way over here." A ladylike voice called out to you as an bulging lump of wool manifested itself. It had the appearance not unlike Nagi but with Ram-like features and bat wings flitting from it's cushiony lime colored coat. "We should count ourselves lucky you showed up when like this all of a sudden. Somewhere in this Labyrinthian complex a Stellar by the name of Cepheus has been warping the dimensions of this entire area badly. Unless he's defeated we'll be trapped here, possibly forever!"

Whoa Whoa Whoa slow down a second. You're going to need a little more to go on than a mysterious critter bleating ill tidings before you jump to action. Let's work our way through the five W's, and THEN we'll decide on diving into some obvious dungeon crawl, okay?

    Who what when where why?
This might be Nagi after an art shift. But if it's someone new, be sure to ask for a free Essence.

"Well, time is of the essence here but sure, introductions are important right?" The flying cottonball remarked. "We can put your mind to ease that I'm not Nagi, though how anybody could mistake an adorable cutie like me for that crutch of an assistant?" "Undoubtedly you're night and day in the looks department." You chime in.

"You can call me Bedy." She decided as she produced a tiny hoof to shake with. "Now that that's squared away let's focus on getting out of here." Bedy began as she began floating off, only to shortly realize you weren't coming along." Hey Champ? When I said 'let's focus on getting out of here.' You were kinda supposed to come along to listen."

The issue still lingered though why exactly you needed to do this again, a motivation still poorly left underdeveloped. Why did you even need to hunt down some Stellar with "Dimension-Warping powers" no less when the door was still... four steps backwards from here? What was stopping you from turning around and walking away right now?

"Well, Chivalry and Heroic Resolve aside, You pretty much can't now. The second you stepped into this whole area you were trapped." Bedy sighed. "You'd think that the whole geometry going haywire would've been a clue, but that Mad King Cepheus is putting a wrench on this place."

You're going to call Taurus on that. You know that Somebody must've gotten through here. Coir set up a camp, some of one at least just ahead. You were there to see it you explain.

Bedy begins to think as she swirls around you slowly in contemplation. "Hmmmm, is that so? Well, It is the third Epoch after all. Any time before then and the Stellar's were only just starting to wake up. Perfectly possible he obliviously wandered right through here without encountering a single foe. That was then however, and now you have a greater challenge to escape from."

You grit your teeth in frustration from this terrible luck. There's no way you're equipped to handle this. Though perhaps there'd be a way to change that. "Hmm, it looks like I've got my work cut out for me. You might not be Nagi, but I'm sure I can count on you as well right?" You ask leadingly. The Batty Ram twirls in confirmation. "Oh certainly. If there's any insight or advice, you know I'll be right there backing you up." You ask if this back up would include things related of the essence variety, to which she smiles and asks what you had in mind.

Oh boy aren't freebies just the best? Better ask for something good.

How about a time stopper? Bullet Time and whatnot.
Should play nicely against (and with!) the spatial distortions.

Careful thought as to what you know you'll be up against leads you to choose something of the temporal variety. Come to think of it manipulating time would've been an awesome ability to have, or Shape Shifting for that matter. Maybe you jumped the gun a little quickly the first time choosing telekinesis? You can't choose them all you suppose.

Settling on stopping time, you file your request with Bedi. The Woolbat happily flings a new gem into your hands "Here's your order Dave! One super sized essence of Time-stopping power, go nuts." Handling the solidified chunk of essence, you look into the deep red hue of the gem. It seems to almost sparkle under the rays of its own intense power. You almost feel humbled to handle such strength, but you also feel resoundingly more confident in facing adversity now.

"Sooo... Now that you're all set, We really do have places to be." Bedi reminded you. "Kings to slay, friends to save, escapes to be made and all that? Ring any bells?"

A jumbo-size gem, eh? Probably shouldn't swallow it or insert it into any other bodily orafices. At least, not until there's someone nearby that could Heimlich you.
In the meantime, our first use of this new power should be something very serious and important.
Freeze time, sneak up behind Bedi, then simultaneously unfreeze time and poke her in the back of the head.

Admittedly ingesting an essence of this size is not looking particularly viable, or survivable. Although it would mean harnessing only a fragment of its awesome power you think it's ultimately for the best just to hold onto this one passively then deal with the risk of it getting lodged somewhere unpleasant.

Still, the effects of the Essence have an immediately noticeable effect as you focus on accessing their abilities. Emerging from your palm, Both your hands form small Bubbles wrapped in ethereal bands of... Time you guess? You try to see if there's any manner of expanding the Field of Time wider, to which you discover you can stretch and expand the bubbles once they touch, but seemingly there is no way to invert the field so everything outside the bubble is stopped; Your limbs either get in the way trying to flip it or you create a really sucky Time Donut that honestly isn't going to do much more besides give you carpal stress. On the bright side you can safely move within the time field without freezing yourself, so there's that going for you.

"You seem a little disappointed Dave, If I was in your situation I'd be thrilled to have an ounce of the power that keeps dropping on your lap." Bedi tells you in an attempt to cheer you up. "I mean really, Some of you heirs are beating Stellars without ANY powers, getting fussed up about having less than expected sway over a veritable law of reality is downright petty in retrospect."

That's true when you look at the big picture you guess, caustic tone aside. You thank Bedi for obliging your request all the same.

As the flying partner had mentioned before, the only way out is by defeating the Stellar in here responsible for trapping you. At the same time there was a possibility that somebody else might be trapped in here too if you understood some of Bedi's wordings, so that's also a thought to keep in mind. Any further thoughts can be consulted with Bedi as the situation requires, but for now you step deeper into the dungeon, this Labyrinth won't solve itself after all.
