KIRBY: First you draw a circle, then you dot the eyes, add a great big smile, and presto -- you've got the eight-inch, gluttonous star of the comic. Kirby has an open-mind; he's willing to try anything once, especially with mayo. He's also perpetually optimistic, considering even the cranky King Dedede a close friend. At times, Kirby's loyalties may be brought into question, especially when he swallows his companions. But really, that just means he likes them. A lot.
Oh, and to those of you who are unfamiliar with the character Kirby, his most famous talent is eating foes and taking their abilities. This ability seems to lend itself to a surprisingly large number of punchlines...
KING DEDEDE: No longer needin' a monstah to clobbah dat dere Kirbeh, King Dedede has decided to take matters into his own hands. For some reason, the guy is always a grouch, and his NES-style dialogue reveals his innermost desires: to "get Kirby." And while he shares similar abilities to the pink puff, Dedede considers Kirby his mortal enemy...even if Kirby is usually oblivious to their supposed "rivalry."
META KNIGHT: The seldom-seen masked character is the only creature Kirby is actually afraid of. Considering Meta Knight is chock full of armor, wields a sword, and looks none too tasty, that's not much of a surprise. He doesn't mess around, and he doesn't joke around. Although he feels that Kirby is a pest, Meta Knight doesn't seem to have any sort of alliance with Dedede.
MARIO: It's-a him. Mario's luxurious mustache and round belly are world-famous, and he knows it. Mario's always willing to lend a hand, especially when no one wants him to. Although he has a tendency to steal the spotlight, at least his heart's in the right place.
ADELEINE: Every webcomic needs a hot chick, but Kirby will have to settle for Adeleine. The painter from Kirby 64 (and some would say Dream Land 3) has the unique ability to literally bring her drawings to life, although they don't always come out as planned. Her gentle nature and happy demeanor make her one of Kirby's kindest and closest friends.
DIDDY KONG: Wide-eyed and excitable, Diddy's childlike personality and boundless energy lead to him and Kirby getting along well. The little guy can get pretty emotional at times, especially regarding his famous uncle.
CAPTAIN FALCON: He's proud, he's loud, and he loves to punch. Captain Douglas Jebediah Falcon apparently can't resist letting the world know of his actions. A confirmed Roman Catholic, Captain Falcon spends his free time racing in the F-Zero Grand Prix, eating beef jerky, and studying the Penteteuch.
